[Kitodo] Anfängerratlosigkeit ...

Liebe Community,

sehen Sie mir bitte nach, dass ich hier mit absoluten Anfängerfragen 
daher komme...

Problem:

Laut Sebastian Meyer geht Kitodo.Presentation

TYPO3 8 LTS with PHP 7 as well.

Gesagt getan -> Es läuft TYPO3 8.3.17 und dlf 2.2.0. TYPO3 zeigt status 
'stable'. Rufe ich aber die Konfiguration aus dem Extension-Manager 
direkt auf, so kommt die Fehlermeldung:

Oops, an error occurred!
Call to undefined method TYPO3\CMS\Core\Messaging\FlashMessage::render()

Fehler wurde schon mal andiskutiert:

aber keine für mich erkenntliche Lösung angeboten.

... Oder läuft derzeit hier die Konfig ausschließlich über Liste -> 
Datenformate etc.? Und man muss sich sonst keine Sorgen machen?
