Lieber Herr Eversberg,

die Kommentare in der Avanti.conf besagen, dass nur Ports
zwischen (einschliesslich) 1024 und 5000 benutzt werden
koennen [?] (oder nur sollen? informelle Tests zeigen, dass
dem wohl ist).

Nun gibt es aber den Fall eines Providers, der alle Ports zwischen 1024
und 50000 (eine Null mehr als die 5000 oben) sperrt (offiziell, ich
koennte mir vorstellen, dass 8080 einen Versuch wert waere).
[Die Zielmaschine ist im konkreten Fall ein Windows-Server, da duerfte
es schwierig werden, einen hohen Port intern auf einen niedrigen,
avanti-vertraeglichen zu mappen]

Die IANA sagt:

The Well Known Ports are those from 0 through 1023.

DCCP Well Known ports SHOULD NOT be used without IANA registration.

The Registered Ports are those from 1024 through 49151

DCCP Registered ports SHOULD NOT be used without IANA registration.

The Dynamic and/or Private Ports are those from 49152 through 65535

D.h., da avanti nie bei der IANA registriert worden ist (und inzwischen
auch der Port 4949 fuer eine andere Applikation reserviert wurde),
sollten kurzfristig zwei Dinge passieren:

1.) Alle Ports erlauben, insbesondere nach oben bis 65535

2.) Einen neuen Default-Port fuer Avanti aussuchen und bei der
~    IANA registrieren
