[Allegro] Mögliche RDA-Änderungen an bestehenden Daten

Der Kollege J.McRee Elrod (seines Zeichens Katalogisierungs-
Dienstleister), in Fachkreisen sehr bekannt, hat eine Liste derjenigen
Änderungen vorgelegt, die evtl. per Programm zur Anpassung von
Altdaten durchführbar wären. Sein Einverständnis voraussetzend, denn
leider kann man zur Zeit nicht ins Archiv der RDA-L schauen, kopiere ich
hier diese Liste, siehe unten.
Evtl. kann der eine oder die andere darin Einzelheiten finden, die
wir für unseren Standard mal ins Auge fassen sollten. Neben den
schon bekannten MARC-Feldern 336,337,338 die man z.T. automatisch
erzeugen könnte, kommt wohl vor allem die neue 264 in Betracht (das nun
wiederholbare "Impressum") statt der alten nichtwiederholbaren 260. Das
wäre mit unserem Trio  #74 - #75 - #76  nicht abbildbar; die Frage ist
natürlich, was es brächte.

Change LDR/18 = i

Add 040$erda and if lacking $dCaNVSL

Replace in 100/600/700 "b." with hyphen after year; replace "d."
with hyphen before year,

Insert after 100/110 $eauthor

Move 110 $k to 240 [ ].

Remove from 130/630/730 "N.T." and "O.T." if between "Bible" and $p;
spell out as "New Testament" and "Old Testament" if no $p.

Remove 245$h

Spell out 250 "rev." as "revised", "ed." as "edition", "enl." as
"enlarged". [if done manually, leave abbreviation if in item]

Change 260 to 264 1, removing ($e$g$g).

Change 260($e$f$g) to 264 3 $a$b$c.

In new 264 spell out place abbreviations to full form shown below.*

Spell out 300 "p." as "pages", "v." as "volumes", "col." as "colour",
"ill." as "illustrations", "b&w" as "black and white", "port." as
"portrait", "ports." as "portraits", "photo." as "photograph", "phhotos."
as "photographs", "pl." as "plate", "p.l.". as "preliminary
leaves"

Notes:

The program is limited to print and electronic monographs and serials;
no nobook materials.

Because of our multi language client base, we are not replacing
ISBD inclusions ca., [S.l], [s.n.], which are few in our database,

We are not changing main entry from title to first author for AACR2
rule of three records; it seemed too difficult to program.

We do not expect to have hon human persons headings changed from
650 to 600, and are leaving other authority changes to an authority
walk, apart from Bible heads which affect filing more than other changes.
