Soweit OK, es sollte aber noch kommen:

configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
config.status: creating ac15/Makefile
config.status: creating aindex/Makefile
config.status: creating osdp/Makefile
config.status: creating atools/Makefile
config.status: creating config.h
config.status: config.h is unchanged
config.status: executing depfiles commands

und an kommt's auf das Makefile. Wenn das nicht entstanden ist, dann 
klappt's halt mit ksh nicht. Wenn's mit bash entsteht, dann ok.

Dann nur noch   make all
woraufhin  avanti  entstehen sollte.
Mit  "strip avanti"  noch das Debug-Zeugs rausnehmen lassen.
