Hier kommt genau das zum Tragen, was ich in meiner Mail vom 19.12
erwähnt habe: Aufzeichnungen über (funktionierende) Konfiguration von
Clients und Servern sammeln.
Als Anhang zwei smb.conf, die funktioniert haben: eine ältere unter Linux
von mir, eine neue unter Sun (nicht von mir). Darüberhinaus gibt es sync-
Parameter für die smb.conf, die mir hier einschlägig zu sein scheinen, die
aber im SWAT (=Samba Windows Administration Tool; erleichtert die
Administration erheblich. Aufruf von einem Browser mit
http://<Servername>:901, login mit root und root-Paßwort) NICHT
auftauchen (warum? unnötig?)
Außerdem hat Herr Teschke in einer Mail vom 22.6. die Parameter
oplocks = false und force group als nützlich erwähnt.
Zu diesem allen siehe man smb.conf oder die Hilfe in SWAT.
Zusätzlich noch der Apell an die Samba-Gurus mitzuhelfen,
eine optimale smb.conf herauszufinden.
