Ein überbordender Wust zusammen gewachsener Teile und Funktionalitäten.<br><br>Es hat meines Erachtens tatsächlich eine Initiative wie die des SWB gebraucht, um das System überhaupt nur denkbar zu machen in einer Bibliothek ohne allzu große technische Ressourcen und im deutschsprachigen Kontext.<br><br>Herr Eversberg mag recht haben, dass die Initiative von Herrn Wolf interessant sein könnte für (kleine?) Bibliotheken, die die SWB-Zugehörigkeit nicht wollen, aber KoHa interessant fänden.<br><br>Mir selber ist mal jemand vor die Füße gefallen, der die modernen Skriptsprachen der Web-Programmierung ebenso selbstverständlich spricht wie ich Hohenlohisch und aus einem Arbeitskontext stammt, der zwar nichts mit Bibliotheken zu tun hat, aber doch einige Parallelen aufweist (Artikelverwaltung in riesigen Mengen, komplexe Datenkonvertierungen etc.).<br><br>Mit ihm zusammen habe ich ein System entwickelt, das sehr viel schlanker ist als KoHa und in seinem Katalogisierungsmodul schon gute Dienste leistet: <a href="http://www.pionlib.de">http://www.pionlib.de</a><br><br>Technisch gesehen ist es im Wesentlichen eine PHP/MySQL-Anwendung.<br><br>Neben verschiedenen kooperativen Projekten der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Archive und Bibliotheken in der evangelischen Kirche verwalten wir damit auch die Kataloge zweier Einzelbibliotheken, von denen die eine eine ehemalige Allegro-Anwenderbibliothek ist und sich sehr zufrieden äußert. </span><o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif'>-- <br><br>Mit freundlichen Gruessen<br><b>Armin Stephan</b><br><em><span style='font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif'>Jefe de Biblioteca</span></em><br>Augustana-Hochschule / Bibliothek<br>Waldstr. 15<br><b>D-91564 Neuendettelsau</b><br>Tel. 09874/509-300<br>|<br>| ,__o<br>| _-\_<,<br>| (*)/'(*) </span><o:p></o:p></p></div></div></body></html>
